Separate reach from the response it earns
A view is an exposure signal; it is not a unique-person count or proof that someone read the whole post. The calculation is most useful when comparing posts from the same account at a similar age.
Worked example
A post with 10,000 views, 180 likes, 20 replies, 25 reposts, and 5 quotes has 230 counted actions. That is 2.3 actions per 100 views. Keep the four action counts visible so the percentage does not hide whether people replied or simply tapped Like.
Compare the same window
A post may collect views immediately while replies arrive later. Take snapshots after a consistent interval, such as 24 hours, rather than comparing a fresh post with one that has been circulating for weeks.
Use different goals
A support update may be useful even if few people repost it; a public announcement may be judged by distribution. Decide what the post was meant to do before treating a higher interaction rate as a win.
